Well, put. I don't mind loud as long as it "sounds" good. Pounding out baffles or rodding them out or whatever is just plain stupid. First of all it never sounds worth a crap and second it ruins what market value factory parts have.
The backfire is TERRIBLE. Just basic riding this evening and was popping between shifts. I will turn out the a/f screw tomorrow to see if it helps. What is the aproximately turns out it should be? I didn't like the "turn it out a couple turns". I would rather have, "it should be 3 1/2 turns", or "5 turns".....
I don't know when the oil was last changed, it is very clean. I will switch over to synthetic in a week or so.
